I served in the Missouri Army National Guard for nine years (2003-2012) as a Military Police Officer. I achieved the rank of Sergeant and was a Team Leader. My service included stateside mobilization for emergencies and deployments to Guatemala, Kosovo, Macedonia, Haiti, and Germany for various missions.

In 2012, I relocated to Texas to attend the Texas Game Warden Academy. Upon graduating, I was assigned to Presidio County, where I continue to live and serve as a Texas Game Warden. Presently, I hold the certifications of Master Peace Officer, TCOLE Instructor, and Firearms Instructor. Over the years, I've organized numerous hunts for youth and veterans, as well as a 3-gun competition designed to recruit, retain, and reactivate competitive shooters.

I embarked on my competitive shooting journey in 2013, starting with local 3-Gun matches before progressing to Run and Gun competitions. To date, I have participated in many Run and Gun matches across Texas and Oklahoma. Additionally, I compete in the Texas 3-Gun Championship and local matches as available.

In 2021, I started hosting “Run and Gun” biathlon style matches. Beginning with the Mystery Lights Run ‘N Gun on the Shurley Ranch. The next year at the Shurley Ranch, we hosted the Extreme Team Run ‘N Gun, the very first team long range team run and gun event. We moved on to the Rio Bravo Ranch in 2023, and began the Rio Bravo Run ‘N Gun, which has become an annual event. Also in 2023, we partnered with the H.W. Lewis Ranch to host Jade Helm 23, a team match with solo competitor options. In 2024, along with Rio Bravo and Jade Helm 24, we began the Bailout Biathlon at the H.W. Lewis Ranch as well as Midnight Mayhem night match at the Dos Hermanos Ranch. Next year, 2025, will include returns of Rio Bravo, Bailout Biathlon, Midnight Mayhem, Jade Helm 25 as well as another new format at the Dos Hermanos Ranch. The Memorial Marathon will be a rifles only event with 6, 12, and 18 mile course options!
