Rifleman Round-Up ‘26 Live Scores
May 23rd, 2026
Memorial Day Weekend
How Scoring Works:As if we hadn’t innovated enough or made our scoring confusing enough, we did it again. We made it even better and more precise. The new “Par Points” system virtually removes ties and opens the door for an even more exciting “Multi-Par” format!
❋ Retaining Percentile Based ScoringStage finishers under par still get a percentile-based score plus the "Down to Finish" bonus which is derived from the DNF rate.
❋ New "Par Points"Don't go to war with hard targets. If you're struggling, move on. Focus on getting more hits in less time to score the best partial points.
❋ Everyone gets a timeNo more 30-way ties for 80% hits. Each competitor’s time and FTNs give a unique score and stage rank. Competitors with FTNs still get a DNF and lose eligibility for the “Did Not Die” bonus.
❋ "Multi-Par"Stage par times will stay short. We don’t need you to miss for 180 seconds to judge performance. However, you can add an optional 30-second final par if you want to risk finishing for reduced points.
❋ "Multi-Par" Continued...There are four alerts: start, first, warning, and final. Example (60-second multi-par): start beep at 0s, first alert at 60s, warning at 75s, and three beeps at 90s for the final par. Know when hold and know when fold!
❋ GamingPar Points isn’t a shortcut to finish a stage faster than the winners. But if you’re quick enough, you can outrank opponents who hit more targets. It helps keep things exciting on a bad day.
Also introducing a new metric to compare Rifleman’s five distinct classes for overall standings and ranking clarity!
❋ Riegel's FormulaThe Riegel formula (1977) predicts your time for a different distance using a recent race time and distance. It applies a fatigue factor to account for slower pace over longer distances. Predictions are most accurate when the input time came from an all-out effort.
❋ Weighted StagesStage value depends on how many competitors shoot them. Stages 1–6 are most valuable, then stages 7–12. Modified stages 1–12, shot only by Elites and E‑Bikes, count less but are a nice bonus.
❋ Bonus TargetsThere will be between 5 to 10 bonus targets hidden throughout the 12 stages but no more than one per stage. Identify one, tell the RO, then hit it for a 5-point bonus added directly to your final shoot score.
❋ Bonus Targets Continued...Bonus targets score once per stage. Elites and E-Bikes may shoot bonus targets again on modified stages 1–12 even if they were hit in standard stages 1–12. Bonus targets aren’t in the stage brief and must be neutralized during stage time.
